DEXTER - The North Country Riding Club will be holding their last horse show of the 2006 season, Sunday, September 24th with members and participants coming from all over Central & Northern Maine. This show is the result of a cancellation in June due to very wet and rainy conditions. The upcoming "All Ribbon Equitation Show" has 40 Classes focusing everything from halter classes, English & Western classes to Lead Line for the youngest rider, draft / draft-cross halter class, driving classes and jumping. The NCRC shows are at Bud Ellms Field in the North Country Riding Club Arena in Dexter. Show registration is at 8 am; Show time is 8:30 AM and will be held rain or shine (unless extreme conditions). All horses must have current rabies and coggins papers upon entering the Show Grounds for the safety of all horses.
Spectator admission & parking is free and you can grab a bite to eat from the Snack Shack food booth from Dexter cooking up breakfast from show start, and continuing cooking fries, burgers, etc. and cold drinks for the entire day. There mayl be other equine type vendors also attending to sell their wares to the participants and spectators as well.
