The Riders met up and started the official ride at the Wassookeag Snowmobile Club and rode through numerous secondary roads, snowmobile trails and woods trails and ended back at the club where they enjoyed a free lunch sponsored by North Country Riding Club. North Country Riding Club (www.DexterMaine.org/ncrc/) sponsors Horse Shows, equine clinics, sleigh rides, trail rides and other events in the Dexter area, but members are from all over Central Maine. The next NCRC event is the Annual Haunted Hay Ride on October 19th starting at 6:30 pm at Bud Ellms Field in Dexter. Over 200 people came to the event last year and it is expected to bigger and better this year. The Halloween event is open to all ages and costs $5.00 per person with proceeds to benefit other events that NCRC sponsors.
